Recorded at Dude Studios and our house on the Gold Coast in 2012, Mindlabyrinthine was creative flux of influence, environment and experience. Recently arriving from Perth in our faithful chariot Austin, WhiteFawn set about hitting the live music scene on the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Songs were created, cool venues were played, unreal bands were watched and great people met. One of those was Tom Beith who helped write this EP in our first and only real collaboration of song ideas.

The tracks written here were a departure from the usual WhiteFawn sound whilst still sounding like a WhiteFawn EP. Influences of trip-hop, shoegaze and ambient music set up a soundtrack for the next few months.

These songs received there live exposure at the Elephant Arms and Ric's Bar in Brisbane and repeated spins on Rabbit Radio Gold Coast and KCR Radio in San Diego. And now after 5 years, we're happy to be able to re-share this with the world and to thank all the people that made it happen.
